Meld Studio is available for both MacOS and Windows.
Good to know
Your event will not start the livestream and be visible to visitors just by starting the livestream from Meld Studio. You need to start it from Nexa as well. This is to ensure that you can test your livestream without showing it to visitors before you actually want to go live.
We assume you know how to set up your project in Meld Studio with all inputs, scenes and transitions.
Set up your Nexa Livestream
1. Open Settings in the General tab
2. Click "Add output"
3. Select "Custom"
In the windows that opens, paste the Stream URL and Stream Key from Nexa into the 2 fields.
Go live
When you are ready to start your stream, click the "Go live" button.
Make sure that the Stream output you just created in Meld Studio is enabled - the toggle next to the stream output.
Preview in Nexa
In Nexa, you will see a preview of the stream we recieve on the same page as the stream endpoint and stream key.
Here you will see the number of concurrent viewers in realtime.
Once you are ready to set your event live in Nexa, go to Feature Control -> Main -> Manage
Change the "Video/Livestream" to Live.
Once you click "Save Changes", your event site will automatically change the livestream module to show the livestream.
Finish your livestream
Once you are done with your livestream, first change state in Nexa, from Live to Done. Wait 30 seconds before you "Go offline" in Meld Studio. Even though Nexa only have about 2 seconds delay from Meld Studio to the view on your event page, some devices like iPhones will have up to 30 seconds.
Happy streaming
